ABC One-on-One

So you've approached a prospect with the Nikken business opportunity or Wellness Home products, and they've expressed interest…Now what? How exactly do you conduct an ABC or one-on-one meeting? How can you ensure that the meeting will maximize your new prospect's potential? Find answers from experienced Nikken leaders here!

Using the ABC Method
The ABC method is a three-way telephone interchange between your upline coach (A), you (B) and your prospect (C). The object of these calls is to set up appointments for you and your coach to meet with each of your prospects and introduce them to Nikken products and the business opportunity. The Nikken ABC method adds power to your prospecting efforts. There are a number of reasons why the ABC method works so well:
  • Having your coach help you make calls and presentations is great training for you.
  • Your coach's experience, knowledge, and skills add power and synergy to these interactions.
  • This on-the-job training enables you to learn the skills needed to make effective calls and presentations.
  • This proven method has contributed to the success of Nikken Consultants for decades.
  • Your prospects appreciate the credibility of a thirdparty expert in the presentation.
Role-Playing with Your Coach
Before you begin calling your top 10 prospects, do a little role-playing with your coach. Pretend that a prospect has just picked up the phone. What should you say to get the ball rolling? What happens next? What if the prospect says he's not interested or doesn't have time to talk right then? Your coach will be able to give you valuable direction in these areas, but here are a few tips to get you started:
  • Give prospects quick "teasers" to whet their appetite and spark their interest to meet with you and your coach and learn more.
  • Avoid getting into long and involved conversations about individual products or the Compensation Plan.
  • Your goal should always be to set an appointment to make a presentation.
Role-play a number of scenarios. Get a feel for how you and your coach will handle the ABC conversation as a team.
